Amazon Home Must-Haves: For the Kitchen

If you’ve stumbled across this post, then you must be a lover of all things Amazon just like ME! I am so excited to finally kick off a new series of sharing my favorite Amazon home must-haves, starting with the kitchen. While I don’t think you actually need every single one of the Amazon products included in this post, I promise that each one has my personal stamp of approval on it. I’ve done the dirty work of reading endless reviews and trying them out in my own home first, so you don’t have to! I hope this is helpful and that you find a few things to make your life easier and your kitchen more organized.

Amazon Must-Have: Kitchen Appliances

Kitchen appliances are where most of the function in our kitchen comes from. We need tools that make cooking easy and efficient, right? These are my favorites all of which I use on a very regular basis!

Sink Faucet

When we bought our first house and started saving up for minor renovations, the cost of a new kitchen faucet is what shocked me the most! These things are EXPENSIVE! The cheapest I could find at our local hardware store ranged from $200-$300 which was way out of our price range, so I turned to Amazon! I was skeptical at first because this kitchen faucet pictured above was priced under $80. That is a drastic difference from all the others I found, but wow it did not disappoint. It is gorgeous, durable and designed for perfect efficiency with a pull down head and easy to use button functions. This gets a 10/10 in my book and is a must-have for any modern, functional kitchen space! I linked this exact one and others below.

KitchenAid Mixer

I know what you’re thinking – this is an obvious one and usually something we put on our wedding registries! But, these can be super expensive too which is why I am linking a few affordable alternatives below including adorable hand mixers that work just as well! Browse my ice blue favorite below and other similar ones, too!

Convection Oven

This is probably one of our most used appliances in our kitchen. I never knew just how amazing having one in addition to an oven is – you can cook multiple things at once, and makes cooking smaller batches SO much easier. Plus, it has a built-in toaster setting, reheating setting (say goodbye to microwaves!) and pizza maker. This Amazon find is a MUST for small spaces and great for bringing the functionality of a second oven into a kitchen space at a fraction of the cost. Browse our exact one from De’Longhi below and other similar brands, too!

Air Fryer

Another staple of ours – makes frying food SO easy and leaves virtually no mess. The one we have is also De’Longhi brand and I will admit that it is pricier than other models BUT I believe it is worth it for 2 reasons. One, the basket inside isn’t designed like other air fryers with those annoying wholes at the bottom that are extremely difficult to clean. And two, it has a few built-in setting buttons for fries and other things so you don’t have to guess how long to air fry something. I LOVE it and believe it’s worth the splurge if you plan on using it often like we do.

Keurig Coffee Maker

I feel like a coffee maker is another staple found in most homes, but these can get pricey too! I did a LOT of research before investing in ours and I think this is a great option for those who don’t need something too fancy or powerful. This is a great budget option for the casual coffee drinker and I love that it also makes it easier to make a cup of hot water for tea, too!

Amazon Must-Have: Kitchen Accessories

Note: A lot of the appliances I share below are from Simplehuman (a brand that I absolutely LOVE!). To read more about these products and my full review of each one, check this post out here.

Step Trash Can

If there is ONE thing you invest in from this entire post, let it be this trash can by Simplehuman.Trash cans are another thing that cost a wild amount of money and while this one isn’t the most budget-friendly out there, it is worth every penny for a few reasons. First, it is by far the most well-designed trash can I have ever owned. The lid has two parts designed to open for disposing of trash, and for hiding the trash bag liners keeping the look extra sleek. I love that it matches our other stainless steel appliances too and is fingerprint resistant. I linked a few other budget options below, too. A few of which we have even tried before, but none compare to the Simplehuman brand. I promise, it’s worth it!

Paper Towel Holder

This might seem like a weird one, but a wall-mounted paper towel holder is an essential for saving space and eliminating clutter. I didn’t realize just how bad we needed this until we got one of our own and installed it under one of our cabinets. If you don’t like the look of it under a cabinet, you can install yours inside a cabinet door or along a hidden wall. These are pretty versatile and work great for small kitchen spaces!

Bread Box

While this one is not a necessity, it is a luxury that helps eliminate clutter and keep food fresher. Yes, fresher! Once we started using a bread box to store fresh bread, we noticed much longer food expiration times for our bread and baked goods. It also keeps some of that extra clutter off the counter space and tucked away!

Knife Set

It is hard to find a quality knife set that won’t break the bank. I’ve tried several in the past, but none compare to this Cuisinart set. At the time of writing this, it’s currently under $100 which is a steal for a quality knife set. I love the white set but there are a variety of colors to choose from. I also linked a few similar options, too!

The Small Details

Sometimes it’s the little things that really help make our lives easier. Things like quality dish cleaning brushes and dry mats. These are a few of my favorites staples linked below that are easy to use and clean!

Amazon Must-Have: Kitchen Organization

For the Refrigerator

Organizing the refrigerator was one of my favorites things to accomplish! I definitely feel like this is the space that gets messiest fastest and it’s easy to let old, expired food get lost. Taking some time to organize your fridge space into separating containers can really help keep things not only clean, but in a place that makes it easier not to forget about. This is great for families with kids who need to make daily lunches so you can rely on knowing where everything is and when it’s time to restock. Below are ALL of the storage bins and organizing tools we personally used for our refrigerator. I would start with a few and then determine any additional needs your family has!

For Under the Sink & Cabinets

Keeping things organized in our cabinets and under the sink is so important for having a functional daily lifestyle. Honestly, it just keeps me sane. HA. I love having everything organized in one space so I know exactly where to find stuff when it comes to cleaning and cooking. You don’t need anything too crazy or expensive to achieve a little bit of organization. Below are a few of my favorite staples that have helped maximize our space and make our lives more efficient.

Pantry Favorites

Pantry organization has been a game changer for us. Not only do these containers help keep everything stored in an organized fashion, but they also help keep food fresh longer, too! I would say that the food containers are the main essentials but some of the others are nice luxuries to have, too like the cereal dispensers pictured above. Browse some of my favorites below and enjoy organizing your pantry space!

Amazon Must-Have: Kitchen Decor

Bar Stools

These bar stools are the most asked for product whenever I share a picture of our kitchen! They are super versatile, working well in many different home design styles. I also love that they are simple and sturdy, not too flashy and not too expensive, either! Browse a few similar ones below, some offered in different colors too!

Bar Cart

This is one of my favorite decor pieces in our kitchen. It is both aesthetically pleasing and super functional. We use ours for misc. storage but also use it to hold drinks and display food when hosting gatherings at our home. I love that it’s on wheels so it can easily be moved around to different rooms or parts of the kitchen for maximum functionality! Below are a few similar ones with different storage options depending on your needs.

Misc.

I am ending the post off with a few miscellaneous items that I used to decorate our kitchen space with. These helped make our space bright and lively while also organized and efficient. A lot of these were featured in our kitchen remodel, so be sure to check out that post if you are looking to completely renovate your space and need some tips!

That’s a wrap! I hope you found this roundup helpful. If you see something in any of the pictures you want that I didn’t link, drop a comment below and let me know! I’d love to help you find all of the kitchen essentials you are dreaming of. Happy decorating! xo
