Our Master Bedroom: The Before & After
The picture here to the left shows what our space looked like before bringing the mantle into the room. As you can see, it’s not horrible but it does look a little cluttered and incomplete. When dreaming up a vision for this corner of our room, I knew that I wanted something timeless that would work through all seasons. An electric fireplace was the perfect addition to the room – bringing extra warmth to the space during colder months and an elegant focal point for all other months of the year, too!
I chose this Electric Fireplace Mantel Package in White and I LOVE how it turned out. It’s tall enough to hide the cables from the T.V. but narrow enough to not take up too much space. It pairs well with all home interiors so I knew it would be the perfect piece to grow with us as the years go on and our home decor style continues to evolve.
Electric Fireplace Mantel Package Review: 10/10
This electric fireplace mantle piece is absolutely worth every penny. The quality is unmatched and the design of the fireplace insert is so realistic! It heats up the room super quick and can be controlled either by buttons on the fireplace itself or a deluxe remote control that has so many features linked to it including the ability to adjust the flame intensity, heat temperature and more. The flames can even be adjusted to use a slow start and fading pattern that really adds to the realism of it.
The mantle itself is so beautiful, designed with timeless details and enough space to decorate on top, too! It really gives the illusion of being built-in to the wall, fitting into the space so well. I tried to come up with any potential cons of this mantle package but I honestly can’t – it meets all of the expectations I had for an electric fireplace and works so efficiently.
I know that purchasing a piece like this for your home is a big investment but I would vote that this one is worth it. We’re building a home in Georgia, where winter nights will be cold. We’ve had electric fireplaces before, and the one you show here would be perfect for us. My only complaint about them is they don’t look “real” because of the space between them and the wall. Would you recommend cutting away the baseboard to make the fireplace flush with the wall?
Hi Lynn! How exciting – congrats on the new home 🙂 I would totally recommend doing that! I would probably have done something similar if we wanted it here permanently but we have discussed moving it down to our basement where we might do that to give it a built in look. We also talked about building shelves around it like a built-in entertainment center or bookshelf to complete the “built-in” look. That’s what I like about this fireplace so much actually – that there is a lot of different ways you can incorporate it into a space! Hope this helps 🙂
