My Easy CJLA Capsule Wardrobe
Casual Everyday
This is one of my go-to casual outfits for lounging around the house, running errands, or maybe meeting a friend for a quick coffee or lunch date! Also included here are two must have staples for any capsule wardrobe as they can be worn with a number of varying outfits.
Hunter Denim Jacket | This denim jacket is a MUST-HAVE for your capsule closet. It is one of CJLA’s most popular pieces and for good reason. It is designed to have an over-sized vintage fit so it does run very large. I normally would snag a size large in denim jackets to give myself extra room, but I actually sized down to an XS in this jacket because I wanted a more fitted look, and it is STILL pretty roomy. | $68
Leah Long Sleeve Waffle Tunic | This is the perfect long sleeve staple! I have this in a few other colors as well (black and the striped navy & white are my personal faves) and they all complete a perfect casual look. Runs true to size, but I sized up on the white one shown here just so I could tie it as shown in the below outfit.| On sale for $24
Danny Jeans | I am actually just wearing leggings for this casual look, BUT I am obsessed with the black denim Danny Jeans and would dress this look up with this par of jeans. The button up detail is so cute, and they are super stretchy, so they practically feel like leggings! | On sale for $64

Casual Winter
Learning to adjust to a Midwest winter has been hard for the California in me, but this Sherpa jacket and manyyyy of the other amazing CJLA jackets have been life savers! I will change up my shoes depending on whether or not snow is in the forecast, pair it with a beanie, and I am all set!
Sherpa Jacket | The exact Sherpa jacket I am wearing is actually no longer in stock! So, I am linking another one of their super cute Sherpa lined jackets here called the “Hattie.” Unbelievably soft and is the perfect addition for warming up any outfit! Everyday Boho
This is easily one of my all-time favorite outfits. It is SO fun and girly, I just LOVE how it brings out my personality and compliments everyone I see wear it so well!
Holly Boho Blouse | This blouse is sadly out of stock, BUT CJLA has a boho dress in the SAME EXACT print and it is just as gorgeous. Snag that on sale here, or shop their other similar (and still just as gorgeous) blouses here. | Various prices under $70
CJLA Denim Jeans | CJLA denim is unreal. The quality is unmatched – super soft, stretchy, and great even for petite gals! On the jeans that are too long for me, I just cuff them inside out at the bottom to give the illusion of a raw hem ending at my ankles. The button detail on all of their denim is so elegant and flattering. The jeans I am wearing here in this photo are from a launch last year, but the Ada Jeans are the exact same fit in a lighter wash that I also wear ALL the time. | On sale for $64
The Benton Hat | This hat is absolutely GORGEOUS and made of such a soft wool material. The color perfectly compliments every outfit and is worth every single penny! One of the best parts is, it’s adjustable on the inside so it fits all head sizes! Also comes in other colors. | $78

Easy Date Night Transition
These outfits are definitely more of Fall looks for me now, but they would definitely pass as Winter transition outfits for all of my California gals! I may get away with this outfit if I threw on a pair of tights and a thicker jacket over it, but this also is a great idea for transitioning into Spring!
Sloan Dress | This dress is SO cute and again, feels like the perfect staple to add to your closet. It comes in so many colors and while the color I am wearing here is not in stock anymore, I am also obsessed with the Sage color, Vintage Gauze, and even the long sleeve version of it: the Blaine. | Shop all on sale under $50
The Evelyn Long Sleeve Striped Tunic | The Evelyn is another one of those must-have staples! I have it in multiple colors, but the black & white stripe is such a classic look and easily one of my weekly go-tos. Love how it perfectly compliments the Sloan dress to dress it down! The Hunter Denim Jacket | Took the Evelyn off and replaced it with the Hunter denim jacket to dress this look up for an easy transition into date night! I would pair the look on the left with a pair of sneakers, and then throw a pair of booties on to dress it up like I did on the right! | $68

The Perfect Spring Transition
Obsessed with this super fun casual look that is great for both winter (with a heavy coat over it) and Spring! So many staple pieces in this picture to complete your capsule wardrobe, and I am covering them all below!
The Harper Long Sleeve | Where do I even begin with the Harper? It is PERFECT in so many ways. First off, it is double lined so it keeps me so stinking warm during the colder days. Second, it compliments my curves in all the right places so I am here for it! Definitely a staple piece, as it can be worn so many different ways. Wear it by itself and rock the adorable scoop back detail, or throw a kimono/jacket over it for going out to complete the look! The Benton Hat | Completed both looks with the Benton hat again because it is so darn good. Love how it can easily be dressed down and up for completely different looks! The wool texture is also great for all seasons! | $78
