Christmas Home Decor

There is so much goodness in one picture here! When curating this decor guide, I was intentional about rounding up affordable and timeless pieces that can be styled in multiple ways for years to come. I am personally all about neutrals when it comes to Christmas home decor, but I included a few pops of color here and there to make the perfect bold statement that is effortlessly classy no matter what style you are going for.

Let’s take a closer look at some of my favorites below and why I hand-picked each piece to be included in my ultimate guide!

Greenery

Wreaths, garlands, and all the potted plants! I can’t wait to fill all the corners of our home with these beautiful pieces that add the perfect amount of elegant class and festive coziness needed to make a space pop.

TIP: Wreaths are great for so much more than just your front door. Hang them up on mirrors, unused cabinet doors, empty wall spaces, and even above the toilet in your guest bathroom to spruce it up!

Pillows & Throws

Festive pillows are a Christmas home decor staple and I can’t get enough of the textures in these steals! They add the perfect touch of cozy to any living space or bedroom and can even be used to liven up lounge chairs or dining table benches. The blankets would also look great folded over at the bottom of a bed to add a sprinkle of holiday spirit in the bedroom!

The Small Touches

Sometimes the small Christmas home decor touches are the very best ones. Level up your Christmas tree game with a basket skirt, add a pop of color to your fireplace mantle with some new festive stockings, spruce up your open shelves with a pair of classy candlestick holders. The possibilities are endless when it comes to the smaller touches and I love how they bring a little bit of glam to all of those empty corners!

Bringing Christmas to the Kitchen

We spend the most time in our kitchen around the holidays…baking for friends, cooking festive meals, and bringing new traditions to the table. There is something real special about spending time in the kitchen this time of year and because of that, I think it’s just as important to focus on bringing Christmas here as it is to other parts of the home, too!

Let’s dive into some of the Christmas home decor staples for your kitchen and dining space below.

Staple Cooking Pieces

If you’re like me, having your Kitchen-Aid mixer out on display acts as a staple home decor piece in the Kitchen. I am drooling over the deep magical blue color of this one shown here and think it would be the perfect addition to any empty counterspace corner. Pair it with a snow white crock pot, and you’ve got two essential cooking tools perfect for making those traditional dishes and beautiful enough to sit out on display all season long. You also can’t forget your apron, cookie cutters, and pot holders – all essentials for bringing Christmas to the table!

For Curating a Christmas Tablescape

These are the perfect essentials for creating a beautiful Christmas-inspired tablescape to gather around with friends and family to enjoy your favorite festive dishes. Serve your holiday meals on festive plates, pair them with beautiful linen napkins wrapped in gold rings, light the tapered candles, add a festive garland, and you’ve got yourself a beautiful Christmas tablescape perfect for hosting!

Transforming Your Porch for Christmas

Welcome Mats

A festive welcome mat is a staple piece for bringing together your porch. What I love about these is that they work in any space, and can be dressed up by adding some texture underneath with a layered rug or patterned mat. When your family and friends come to visit, your porch is the first thing they see so don’t forget this special step!

Festive Accents

Adding a few small pieces on your porch can really take your home’s curb appeal to the next level. Throw some birchwood logs into a galvanized tub and place it next to a festive wood welcome sign. Don’t forget the lights and a few layered Christmas trees of course!

For Those Small Corners

All the Christmas Trees

A wide variety of mini trees is probably my favorite way to fill empty corners. There are so many possibilities within a wide range of budgets for bringing small pieces of Christmas tree magic to every room in your house. Snag a few under $10 from the dollar bin, and splurge on a couple of bigger ones to act as statement pieces. You can never have too many!

Misc.

A few simple garlands, a pile of birchwood logs, a set of tabletop trees, and a metal barn to add to your bookshelf…these are just a few small pieces that go a long way in bringing together cohesiveness in the small spaces. Throwing together a few of these affordable pieces under $20 can turn an empty corner or blank wall into one more page of your festive masterpiece. Snag a few extras for those empty bookshelves…you won’t regret it!

That’s a wrap, friends! I hope you enjoyed this in-depth look at some of Target’s quality Christmas home decor and that you find some pieces to bring Christmas to your home this year. Snagged anything good? Share with me in the comments below!
